Anwar's Legacy
Anwar's Light was founded in memory of Anwar, a beloved son, brother, and friend, whose life was tragically cut short on August 1, 2020. Anwar’s name, meaning "luminous" or "radiant" in Arabic (أنور), perfectly captured the essence of his character. Known for his unwavering generosity and commitment to helping others, Anwar’s legacy of kindness continues to inspire the work we do.
