Anwar's Light was founded in memory of Anwar, a beloved son, brother, and friend, whose life was tragically cut short on August 1, 2020. Anwar’s name, meaning "luminous" or "radiant" in Arabic (أنور), perfectly reflected his spirit. Known for his boundless generosity and commitment to uplifting others, Anwar’s legacy of kindness continues to fuel the heart of our work.

Yet, There Are Over 153 Million Orphans Worldwide, Many Are Deprived Of The Essential Education, Care, And Support They Need To Reach Their Full Potential.
Our Impact
Though we are a young organization, our vision is bold and far-reaching. We are currently focused on establishing our first orphanage in Africa, with plans to expand our model to other regions as we grow. Our goal is to create a network of self-sustaining orphanages that provide not only shelter and care but also a pathway to independence and success for the children we serve.
